Roffey beat bogey boys to make it four straight wins
Despite taking on one of their bogey teams for the last few seasons, unbeaten Roffey made a confident start which was rewarded after only 12 minutes with an excellent opening goal.
Stand-in keeper Kieron Poynton threw the ball to man of the match Alec Hayes, who got a return pass from birthday boy Ben Bissett and after a 40 yard dash down the line found an unstoppable low cross to give Asa Pearson his eighth goal in five games.

Hide AdHurst’s big bustling striker Adedoja was being subdued by centrebacks Ross and Duncan Hirschfield, and Roffey’s next chance came just before half-time when, from Damon Aston’s superb chip Pearson’s shot was blocked by a defender, and Aston then had a strong shout for a penalty waved away.
Roffey’s dominance continued in the second half, skipper Ben Simester marshalling the back line well, and when Pearson was brought down in the 65th minute they did get a penalty which Bissett converted.
Ross Hirschfield saw a header saved on the line and youth player Chris Nicholson came off the bench to wrap it up with a fine goal from distance late on.
