Roffey continue to close in with Alfold win, but derby's called-off

Dan Dunster fired the home side ahead in the first minute and Gavin Fowler doubled their lead just three minutes later. Alfold did pull a goal back through Dan Hallet midway through the half, but Fender went on to net twice in three minutes.
Jack Munday completed the scoring in the second half with a 90th-minute strike.

Hide AdThe result keeps Roffey third, six points behind new leaders AFC Varndeanians with a game in hand.
They have a game in hand over the side that displaced Cowfold from top spot, with their 4-0 victory at Clymping on Tuesday night. The two sides meet at Bartholomew way on Saturday.
Roffey then face Ifield Galaxy on Tuesday night, before ending their season on May 10 away to Billingshurst, who are ten points off the top with three games in hand.
The Roffey derby at AFC Roffey Club on Tuesday night was called off as the home club could not raise a team.

Hide AdAlfold lost 3-1 at Ifield Galaxy on Tuesday. They sit 12th in the table, level on 22 points with third-from-bottom Galaxy and Clymping.
They have two games remaining - Rottingdean Village on Saturday and Hurstpierpoint a week Tuesday.
