Rye game to go ahead
Despite a significant amount of overnight rain, today’s pleasant sunshine has ensured that the Sussex County Football League Division One match will take place at the second time of asking.
The teams - both of whom successfully appealed against being moved to the Kent County League last summer - were originally due to meet on Boxing Day only for the clash to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

That result moved Marc Gall’s Rye side up to 13th in the table - eight points behind Crowborough with three games in hand. Kick-off at Alderbrook Rec is 7.45pm.
