Player/coach John Rhodie took charge alongside reserve team manager Paul Read.
Rhodie said: “It was a frantic game and one of the maddest and bizarre I have been involved in. It was very competitive with both sides challenging the referee’s decisions.
“In the end it got heated and though at the start we had wanted a win, in the end I was happy with a point as we had a lot of 17 and 18-year-olds who could have been bullied bit stuck with it.”
