Storey still has the belief of beating the drop
Their 5-0 drubbing at Folkestone on Saturday was their fifth straight defeat and leaves them without a point in over a month.
But Storey is still confident his basement side can beat the drop and is looking to bolster his squad with the addition of another new signing before this Saturday’s visit to Hythe Town.

“With nine games to go we need to start scoring goals and winning games. End of story.
“Away from home we’ve got to be cuter in the way we do things.
“This Saturday’s a huge game. We are training twice this week and I am speaking to a couple of winners this week.

Hide Ad“We need another forward, centre-back and centre-half - we need to improve right down the spine of the team.
“We have had the tough games now. We’ve got some teams against us we need to start beating, starting this Saturday.”
Fellow joint manager Cliff Cant added: “We need to win five or six games out of nine.
“We have just got to get a bit of luck as I know our squad is good enough.”
