United boss Garry Wilson was named October’s Macron and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month for Ryman League Division One South. And goalkeeper Josh Pelling scooped the division’s ‘safe hands’ award for last month.
Wilson led his side to two victories in the FA Trophy, including last Saturday’s 2-1 win at Chipstead in first round qualifying. On top of that, four straight wins in the league saw the U’s start to climb the table.

He will also soon be choosing from three colours at the long established Nicholas Rowe Tailoring’s 7000 sq ft Suit City in Redhill as part of a unique sponsorship partnership with the Ryman League.
Pelling, a PE teacher at the City of London Academy, conceded a single goal in four league outings to earn the division’s goalkeeping accolade.
Pelling is now in his third season at The Pilot Field after arriving from Eastbourne Town in the summer of 2013 and, remarkably, hasn’t missed a league game during that period.

Nottingham-based Reydon Sports PLC - the UK’s largest sports and leisure wholesale and distribution company - is sponsoring the monthly accolades through its Precision Goalkeeping brand and Pelling will be presented with a pair of Precision Goalkeeping gloves, the prizes provided by ProKit UK, the nominated retailer administering the awards on behalf of Precision Training.
