Spurs ended a three-game losing run as Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot after Glenn Murray handled Kieran Trippier's free kick and Erik Lamela was then left unmarked to sweep home the second.
Anthony Knockaert got a goal back in injury-time but Ryan was left to rue the goals Albion gave away.

"They're the little details where you get punished and we've given another penalty away. That's three this year and it's just frustrating I haven't been able to help the team in any of them so far this year.
