Glossop leads the way in Worthing Golf Club’s Junior Open
Top honours for a best gross score of 71 on the club’s lower course was won by Ham Manor junior captain Josh Glossop.
The 16-year-old, who is also a junior member at Worthing, was presented with the Alan Toley Cup by club vice-captain Alan Harris.

Hide AdThe Purnell Cup, for a best net score of 69, went to Worthing’s Nathan Longley.
The prize for the best gross score from the girls was won by Amber Cochran, from Slinfold, with a score of 87, while Worthing’s junior girls’ captain Amy Davey won the net score prize with 74.
Worthing’s Terry Green won best gross score for the under-15s, with Tom Curry, from West Chiltington, claiming the best net score.
Second prize for the main gross score competition went to Steve Gibbs, from Sedlescombe, with Lewis Tiltman, from Royal Eastbourne, third and Worthing’s Steve Mann fourth.
Worthing players Toby Redman, Chris Stoneham and Alex Williams all took runner-up prizes for net scores.
The nearest-the-pin prizes were won by Mann, Tiltman and Kurt Redman.
