Golfer to follow American dream
The talented one-handicapper received scholarship offers from coast to coast before eventually committing his future to seven-times national champions Tyler College.
A former William Parker Sports College student, Cotton is currently a member of Highwoods and Sedlescombe Golf Clubs, and recently became Highwoods Club Champion.

Hide AdThe 20-year-old has also been a key player for Sussex at under-21 and first team level, and finished his season by beating England player Connor Fletcher to secure Sussex a one-point victory over rivals Kent.
St Leonards-based Cotton, who jets off to Texas on Monday, said: “I feel very lucky to have this opportunity and plan on making the most of it.
“My ultimate goal is to play professionally in America and I believe that the college system over there is the perfect place to prepare me for that.
“It’s going to be tough leaving my family and friends behind, but I feel ready for the experience and can’t wait to get out there.”
