Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Josh McLean smashed 140 from 129 balls and hit 23 fours before he was last man out. He shared a 107-run eighth-wicket stand with Simon Bulteel, who struck 61 from 39 balls with four fours and five sixes.

Hide AdAdam Tester was the main victim of the big hitting with his 10 overs going for 74, although he bowled well and deservedly took three wickets. Left-arm spinner, Chris Hanks, also got three wickets, including the scalp of McLean '” stumped behind by the bowler's brother Stuart.
