Hide AdChichester took all opportunities for shots on goal, but it was a short corner that put them 1-0 up. The ball was sent through the goalie’s legs for Pack to strike it in.
Chichester kept the pressure on and before half-time Giles and Jessop worked the ball in the attacking D once again, around the goalkeeper and into the net.
The Chichester supporters were motivating the team from the sidelines. Some brilliant play from Cruttenden kept Horsham at bay, and it was evident that Howarth was not going to allow Horsham any time on the ball, tackling well at every opportunity.
The third goal came from some superb work from Black working the ball through midfield and getting the ball to Jessop, who beat four players and scored with a reverse-stick effort from an amazingly-tight angle.
