Hockey team help themselves to top spot
They dominated early possession and took a three-goal lead with some well-taken strikes from Moon.
Chichester created numerous chances thanks to great passing hockey from the midfield of Richardson, Clark and Troy. Trojans came back into it with two goals after a couple of lapses in the usually-strong Chichester defence.

Chichester’s dominance continued in the second half as the Trojans team tired. This helped Moon, O’Boyle and Woodruff to provide Sowden with chances to complete his hat-trick with two good strikes.
Chichester made it 9-2 with goals from Woodruff and two more for Moon. Trojans rallied but were thwarted by great saves from goalkeeper Hetherington and s good tackles from the defence of Pacey, Gleeson, Hagell and Hamill.
Chichester almost made it ten but a Woodruff goal was ruled out .
