Record turnout makes darts knockouts a big hit
In the division-three contest, Guy Watson just beat Julie English (both Friary C’) and Gary Blackwood and Gary Miller (both Claremont) had a good battle which Blackwood won.
The final saw Blackwood hit double top for the first leg. Watson started the second leg with 85, but Blackwood was too consistent for him and took the division-three title.

Hide AdDivision two saw 32 players step up to the oche, the most ever for any divisional singles knockout.
The first semi-final saw Bradley Marshall (BRSA Ravens) beat Lewis Campling (Newtown X). Then James Riggs (Friary D) bowed out to Paul Crockford (Newtown X).
Crockford hit double 18 with his first dart to take the final’s first leg. The second saw Marshall take a chance to draw level.
The last leg was close but Crockford opened up a 100-point lead and went on to take the division-two singles knockout title.

Hide AdDivision one had 30 players taking part. The first semi-final saw Lee Franklin lose to Andy Stubbs (Hunston Club). Then Richard Ragless (Wheatsheaf) beat 2011 champion Micky Rowland (QE2 Cobras).
In the final it was nip and tuck before Ragless took the first leg. The second leg was close all the way but Ragless got his final double to become the first person to retain the division-one singles knockout title.
