Robertson right on cue in pro-am
The Bexhill talent reached the semi-finals of the Pink Ribbon Pro-Am at the South West Snooker Academy and could well have made it through to the decider.
Robertson began his campaign in the last 128 with a 4-0 win over Phil O’Kane. The world no.53 then cruised past another amateur Sanderson Lam by the same score and saw off 50th-ranked Peter Lines 4-2 in the last 32.

Robertson’s run eventually came to an end with a 4-3 defeat against Michael Holt after losing the final two frames. Holt, the defending champion, lost 4-0 in the final to Mark Joyce.
Fellow O’Sullivan’s Snooker Club player Leo Fernandez continued the sparkling recent form which has earned three titles in recent weeks, including the English Amateur Championship, by reaching the last 16.
Fernandez chalked up a notable 4-2 success over world no.38 Mike Dunn in the last 64 before getting the better of a fellow former professional Craig Steadman by the same score in the last 32.
