Young takes Jack of Clubs Open title
In total 76 entrants took part in the event with Commonwealth Games medallists and England Internationals all involved.
It proved to be a huge success with bowlers coming from Cornwall, South Devon, East Kent and East Anglia to be involved.

Hide AdLocal favourite and Pavilion member Mark Strong made it into the last 16 of the Jack of Clubs singles event before losing out in a tie-break to Gary Fountain.
Strong’s defeat was no disgrace, though, as Fountain met Young in the final.
Young, of Wey Valley Bowls Club eventually took the crown with a 7-7, 9-4 success and took home a prize fund of £1,000.
Fountain was not to leave the event empty handed, though, as he managed to take the top prize in the Ian Hart sponsored Bounty Hunter event.

Hide AdHe overcame last year’s winner Danny Dennison to take the crown.
Jack of Clubs Open organiser Warwick Davis was delighted with how the event went and said: “It was a really fantastic weekend of Bowls action.
“it proved to be really popular and I think everyone enjoyed us holding it in Worthing.
“I hope we will be going back again in the near future.”
