Revamp for Revival: New areas revealed for Goodwood festival
The festival, which celebrates historic motor racing and vintage fashion, is set to return this year on September 17 to 19.
New features announced for this year include a Make-Do and Mend area which is where restoration projects will be showcased.

Hide AdThe Hurricane Lawn will allow attendees to be immersed in all things food produce, with talks on food wastage and home growing.
The Lavant Infield will see the introduction of high street shopping, places to refuel for lunch and an opportunity to admire the selection of 60s GT cars racing in the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy.
This area will be themed as RAF Westhampnett and celebrate the history of the airfield prior to the introduction of the Motor Circuit with victory parade military vehicles also based here to explore.
There will be a Festival of Britain theme at Gate 2, recreating the scenes of jubilation seen in the summer of 1951. The festival aimed to raise the spirits of a country still in the grasp of austerity and rationing.

Hide AdAnd the 75th commemoration of the 1946 London Victory Parade will take place on Sunday, with a full marching column leading the vehicles to the start line.
There will also be a new track viewing corner at Madgwick Corner, the ‘trickiest corner of the circuit’, according to organisers.
Tickets for Goodwood Revival are limited as there are fewer tickets available due to social distancing and those with 2020 tickets were given the option to roll over to the 2021 event.
