THIS month, around 40 of our members gathered at the Leeford Place Hotel, Whatlington for this year's Summer Lunch. In addition to a very enjoyable meal, the excellent weather enabled members to relax in the grounds for refreshments and a pleasant get-together.
For July, in addition to the usual monthly meeting at the Town Hall on Monday the 14th at 10am, there will be a visit on Wednesday the 16th to Hatfield House, Hertfordshire. There is no outing in August, with a visit to Howletts Wildlife Park, Canterbury planned for September.
