A POLICEMAN has been told to resign after an investigation into missing property.

The officer from Eastbourne had been suspended since last July and a misconduct tribunal was held in private last month.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police refused to comment on the details but said, "We can confirm an officer appeared before a misconduct tribunal and was required to resign."
The case concerned an allegation that property from premises raided in Eastbourne had not been returned.
