LOZ Banks started at the Hastings and Bexhill Wood Recycling Project as an unemployed trainee with low expectations.
But he quickly discovered that he not only enjoyed the work but was very good at it. His contribution was recognised and he is now employed by the project and is in the running for an award from Tomorrow's People.
The project's designer Stewart Walton told Melvin Benn, the head of the music group Festival Republic about his achievement and his response was to send Loz two complimentary tickets to this weekend's Reading Festival.
